Stacey Dixon, Deputy Director of IARPA,
to Keynote at 2017 Summit


The 2017 Cyber Security Summit is excited to announce our newest keynote speaker, Dr. Stacey Dixon of IARPA. The Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA) is part of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and invests in high-risk, high-payoff research programs to tackle challenges in the Intelligence Community.

Dr. Dixon joined IARPA as its Deputy Director in 2016.

Prior to that, she was the Deputy Director of InnoVision and also served as Chief of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). From 2007 to 2010 she worked on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) staff, and for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) assigned to the National Reconnaissance Organization (NRO)’s Advanced Systems and Technology Directorate from 2003 to 2007. Dr. Dixon holds doctorate and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University. She was a chemical engineering postdoctoral fellow at the University of Minnesota.
